HP Elite x2 1012 G1 review 2020

 HP designed its 12-inch Elite X2 convertible tablet with notebook-class indulgence in mind, and it succeeds in most cases. But it does offer serious competition for Microsoft Surface Pro 4, with a few feature bars below.

Unlike Microsoft's Surface Book, which emerged after several generations of Surface tablets, the Elite X2 evolved from HP's notebook line and its more consumer-centric predecessor, last year's Specter X2 convertible tablets. Buy an Elite X2 and you'll probably have the stability of the keyboard, the integrated Windows Hello fingerprint sensor, and the fantastic trackpad. Just be careful about using it in your lap: The magnets holding the tablet in place seem to be weaker than their competition, potentially allowing the x2 to sink to the ground.

That's fine, as HP says the Elite X2 can withstand a 36-inch drop on the wooden floor. My wife accidentally tested that claim, throwing it on a low 24-inch table with a thin carpet with no scratches. Even a widespread world crash of the game simply requires sending x2 to your IT department. The X2 is clearly designed to allow upgrades or components to its interior, including HP screens.
Convertible tablets of SUVs

Microsoft's Surface Series is often regarded as a premium, tablet option, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for Microsoft's Core M3 version of the Surface Pro 4 priced at just $ 899. Out of the box, the Elite X2 shows you that it means business. The busy keyboard is covered with LEDs and multiple key functions, a visual breakdown of the Misterialistic Specter X2. Unlike the Surface Pro 4 or the Lenovo ThinkPad X1, HP has the top of the keyboard to aluminum although it has a familiar quo fabric under competition. Add an angry metal kickstand to it and the whole idea is that the tablet can make us repeat.
